Larry Rosenberg is a senior marketing executive with diverse experience with four of the world’s largest Information Technology product and services suppliers: IBM, Amdahl, Fujitsu Consulting and EMC. With over 25 years of leadership experience, Larry has produced business expansion and marketing results with a focus on Corporate Communications, Business Development and Marketing Strategy. Whether the challenge is a new business launch or a turnaround requirement, he has driven a successful track record based on quantifying and communicating customer value propositions.
His particular areas of expertise are:
- Core Marketing Messaging: including Brand Management, Market Research and Corporate Strategy serving as a central theme for all marketing initiatives
- Client and Marketplace Initiatives: spanning events, website management and voice of the customer, maximizing awareness and acceptance
- Direct Sales programs: including account planning, forecasting, reviews and incentive compensation plans aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of the sales resource
- Partner and Strategic Alliance programs: t extending the reach of the enterprise with contract management, joint planning, business reviews and partner enablement and training, leveraging the partner channel for business impact
- Influencer focus: PR processes, Industry Analyst relations and Systems Integrator programs, supporting market penetration
- Employee and internal processes: including Board meetings, recognition events, internal websites, executive updates and employee periodicals, for control, communication and engagement
- Marketing Program Office: to measure and control marketing effectiveness
Most recently at EMC Larry was accountable for worldwide operations for their Strategic Alliances group which drove revenue and increased market penetration with EMC’s outsourcers, systems integrators and industry vertical partners. With globalization of positioning and integration of a broad set of products and services, the operations group focused on strategy development, business enabling functions, messaging, growth targets and re-engineering the go-to-market strategy.
Prior to EMC, Larry was the Vice President of Marketing for Fujitsu Consulting. While he held this position his group led critical initiatives as part of Fujitsu’s establishment of a work wide consulting business. Among those initiatives was the design and deployment of an integrated marketing plan, an intense campaign with the Industry Analysts, re-design of national websites and integration with the Fujitsu corporate re-branding program.
Larry holds a Master of Science in Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the City College of New York. In his spare time, Larry gains fulfillment from his community services work, both on the local and national levels.
