Bruce Guidotti has spent his career solving difficult brand problems. He has a proven record of success in both turning around troubled established brands and in helping create and successfully introduce new brands. He has unusually broad client and brand experience across consumer packaged goods (food and HBC), telecommunications, technology, restaurants (Quick Service, Fast Casual, and Casual Dinning), pharmaceutical, retail, and service businesses.

Prior to joining the Next Gen marketing team, he was a veteran of big agency account management – He held senior account positions at Foote, Cone & Belding (twice); BBDO; DMB&B; Grey (twice); and Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor where he was a partner. Bruce has helped launch and/or reposition such notable brands as Loving Care, Soft’n Dri, Wisk, Fritos, Quaker Oats, Life Cereal, Doan’s, Dulcolax, Acutrim, BIC, ABC News.com, Citysearch.com, Ticketmaster.com, TCI Cable, Starz, Encore, KFC, Long John Silver’s, Moov Frozen Foods, and many others (click here to see others).

After leaving the agency business, Bruce spent 5 years as Chief Strategy Officer for J. Brown, a division of Grey, helping the agency develop the discipline known initially as Co-Marketing or Account Specific Promotion, and currently as Shopper Marketing.  At J. Brown and Ogilvy Action, Bruce worked with early-adopter, top-tier clients in that capacity including P&G, Kraft, Dannon, Dairy Board, Gerber, Sara Lee, and others.  During that time he was also President of J. Brown advertising and consulting.

Bruce has also done a substantial amount of work with start up organizations including a number of internet companies and with helping start ups secure start up and second stage capital.

The three things most people usually remark on about Bruce are his sound judgment, his boundless energy, and his unmistakable bias for action. Clients generally conclude that when he is around, good things get done.
